New Zealand Private Presses & Printers
This page is an ongoing project to list private presses and printers in New Zealand, past and present. The definition of what consititutes a private press or printer is a loose and generous one.  Any presses or printers in New Zealand (or elsewhere) who would like to be included in the list please contact me.

At various stages, as a critical mass of new material is reached, a few copies on paper will be produced to preserve the information and copies offered to any libraries willing to receive them (e.g. AHP and Ferrymead Printing Society libraries).

YOU CAN HELP. If you can fill a gap or provide a correction to what is recorded here please do so. If you are, or have been, a letterpress printer please send me information on your past and/or present activities. Don't be shy.

{This is a very incomplete list based mainly on the AHP membership directory, along with random searches of Google, the NZ National Library catalogue, information sent to me, and serendipidous discoveries. Names without links indicate information is still being sought for that press or person}
