History

Ed Cutler commenced printing in 1978 with the purchase of an Adana 8 x 5 and began a lengthy period of printing small books (invariably humorous) and ephemera.

Ed was especially notable for his achievements designing type, punch cutting, striking matrices and handcasting type from his own and monotype matrices. A full account of his printing life can be found in the September 2002 issue of the AHP Newsletter (Number 41).

Equipment

An Adana 8 x 5 plus a range of monotype founts, machine and hand cast.
