Association of Handcraft Printers

The Association of Handcraft Printers (NZ) Incorporated is a New Zealand wide organisation for those interested in letterpress printing. Members are located throughout NZ with a small loyal group of overseas members. Auckland members meet on a regular basis for instructional and recreational purposes and there is an annual wayzgoose.

Equipment Wanted or for Disposal

From time to time AHP members need printing items, or have something surplus to dispose of. The Equipment button to the left of this page leads to listsings of equipment, type etc. that members and others want, or would like to dispose of.

Membership of AHP

Membership of AHP is available to individuals and organisations in NZ or overseas. Members receive a copy of the newsletter (published quarterly) and Vinculum (annually). Vinculum is a collection of letterpress material produced by members, for circulation to members. AHP holds an annual competition called the "Spencer Prize" for which members can compete by entering letterpress items.
